Curcumin Cured Her Cancer

Dieneke Ferguson battled blood cancer since 2007. She had three rounds of grueling chemotherapy and four bone marrow transplants.

She described the side effects of her prescription drugs as “terrifying.” They caused her to lose her memory for days at a time. Two of the vertebrae in her spine collapsed. And yet, nothing worked…

Her myeloma was still spreading rapidly.

She had little hope left. Doctors gave her a life expectancy of one year.

Finally, Mrs. Ferguson gave up. She stopped all of her conventional medical treatments. Then she stumbled across a “miracle cure” on the internet. She gave it a try as a last resort.

Today her cancer cell count is negligible. In other words, she is cured.

With no help from her doctors, Mrs. Ferguson had discovered the power of curcumin, one of the main compounds in the Indian spice turmeric. It’s the pigment that gives turmeric its bright yellow color.

Her doctors and other so-called experts were stunned. You see, in the West, modern medicine knows next to nothing about medicinal herbs and spices. But I’m not surprised at all by Mrs. Ferguson’s story…

Ayurvedic healers in India have used turmeric for thousands of years as a powerful medicine. And today there are over 5,600 published studies on turmeric and curcumin.

Much of this research proves the power of curcumin against cancer. One recent clinical study in Cancer Letters proved that curcumin targets cancer stem cells (CSCs). CSCs are the root cause of tumor formation and malignancy.1

Other studies show curcumin:

  • Prevents DNA damage that can lead to cancer
  • Halts replication of cancerous cells
  • Triggers programmed cell death in breast cancer cells
  • Slows the growth and spread of human prostate cancer cells
  • Targets destruction of cancer-cell mitochondria while leaving healthy cells alone
  • Fights colorectal cancer cells

It’s not just cancer. Curcumin has been shown to treat over 619 conditions. Studies show it:

  • Reverses memory loss from late-stage Alzheimer’s in just three months2
  • Reduces arthritis joint pain by 60%… and joint swelling by 73%3
  • Eliminates symptoms of hard-to-treat depression
  • Halts the onset of type 2 diabetes with 100% success4

And curcumin has been proven more powerful than 19 of Big Pharma’s best-selling drugs – without the side effects.

Studies show it beats the chemo drug Eloxatin… the diabetes drug Metformin… the Alzheimer’s drug Aricept… and the depression drug Prozac. It also relieves pain as well as aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen without deadly risks like heart attack, stroke and stomach bleeding.

You can get many of the benefits of curcumin by using it in most of your cooking. I like to use fresh turmeric root in the kitchen. It looks like an ugly carrot in a brownish wrapper. When you cut it open, the flesh is a bright orange. You can grate it like ginger. Or you can find dried and ground

A banana curcumin smoothie is a delicious way to kick off your day.

Banana Curcumin Smoothie

Sometimes I even like to start my day with a curcumin smoothie. It warms you from the inside out. And it’s a great way to sneak some curcumin into your morning routine. Here’s my recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup plain yogurt or kefir
  • 1 teaspoon curcumin
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground ginger

Preparation

  1. Add all the ingredients into a blender and whirl until smooth.

Still, I find that most of my patients don’t use enough curcumin to get the full health benefits of curcumin. That’s why I recommend curcumin supplements. Take at least 500 mg or 1,000 mg if you want to see even better benefits.

Mrs. Ferguson took 8 grams (8,000 mg) of curcumin a day to fight her cancer.

But don’t waste your money on curcumin that doesn’t work…

You see, your body typically absorbs only about half of the curcumin you take in. Look for a supplement with piperine (an extract from black pepper). This was a key ingredient in the curcumin Mrs. Ferguson had. Adding 20 mg of piperine can increase the bioavailability of curcumin by 2,000%.5
