The Woman Who Feels No Pain

Jo Cameron feels no pain due to her rare gene mutation.

Jo Cameron does not feel physical pain.

And she never feels anxiety.

Why?

Jo has two rare mutations in her endocannabinoid system (ECS) that give her this pain-free existence.1

That means the CBD receptors in every cell in her body are activated 24/7.

I’ve talked about the power of CBD to modulate pain signals in your body.

Jo Cameron is living proof this pain-relief system works.

Today, I’ll show you how this system works, and how to get your own CBD experience.

How a Routine Surgery Stunned Doctors

Jo went in for a hand surgery that is often very painful. Afterward, her doctors were shocked when she told them she felt no pain — even after the surgery.

They discovered she has two rare genetic mutations.

One limits how much FAAH she produces. FAAH is the enzyme that breaks down anandamide, a compound your body produces to regulate pain.

The other mutation involves a gene called FAAH-OUT. This gene controls your FAAH levels. In her case, she’s missing half of the gene, causing her body to break down a lot of her FAAH before it can do its job.

As a result, she has a constant abundance of anandamide.

CBD works in much the same way. It slows the action of FAAH, increasing the amount of anandamide in your body.

Living Proof That Your ECS Controls Pain

Jo is living proof that your ECS regulates how you feel pain. Her experience also explains why CBD works so well to relieve pain.

If you’re new to CBD, here’s what to look for:

  • Full-spectrum CBD. You can find a lot of different CBD products on the market today. I recommend full-spectrum CBD over isolates. It has all the natural compounds found in the plant and more effectively activates the CBD receptors in your ECS.

As an oil, take it by placing a few drops under the tongue.

Currently, there is no defined dosage. But many products provide a small dose you won’t feel. Start with 10 mg of a high-quality CBD oil.

And use this CBD dosage calculator to establish your needs based on weight and the kind of relief you’re looking for, be it pain, sleep, anxiety, etc.

Keep in mind, most full-spectrum CBD has trace amounts of THC. While trace amounts are usually too small to make you feel “high,” it could cause you to fail a drug test.

  • Hemp oil. Hemp oil also delivers the full spectrum of CBD compounds. You might also see it as hemp seed oil, as it comes specifically from the seeds of the hemp plant.

Some hemp oils are enriched with CBD. And like CBD oil, place a few drops under your tongue. Use the link for the calculator above to find your ideal dose.
