Dear Health Conscious Reader,
Have you heard this yet?
There’s a “reduced” form of CoQ10 that your bloodstream can absorb much more easily. This is great news for your heart.
It’s known as ubiquinol.
If you’re taking the old form of CoQ10, you may not be getting the support your heart needs. And you may be missing out on the energy, vitality, and optimism my patients already enjoy.
Let me explain.
Have a look at this:
Time | Dose | Form of CoQ10 | Blood Level | Ejection Fraction |
June | 450 mg/d | Ubiquinone (Old Form) | 1.6 mg/L | 15% |
Sept | 450 mg/d | Ubiquinol (Accel) | 6.4 mg/L | 35% – 40% |
This man is 65 years old. In June, he was taking 450 mg of the old style of CoQ10, and his plasma blood levels were only 1.6 mg/L. That is far below what I recommend based on what I’ve seen over the past 20 years.
This case was no different: He was clearly deficient in CoQ10, even though he was taking 450 mg of the old form a day.
Now, look what happened by September after he started taking the “reduced” form of CoQ10, the kind you find in Accel.
His blood levels of CoQ10 shot up by 300%.
By taking the reduced form of CoQ10, his blood levels went from what I believe is poor to excellent.
And, take a look at his ejection fraction. That’s the percentage of blood that’s pumped with each heartbeat. It increased from 15% to 35-40%. Suddenly, his heart is pumping with two to three times the power he had when he was taking the old form of CoQ10.
Here’s another one…
My patient “A.D.” is 74 years old.
Time | Dose | Form of CoQ10 | Blood Level |
November | 400 mg/d | Ubiquinone (Old Form) | 1.26 mg/L |
September | 50 mg/d | Ubiquinol (Accel) | 2.78 mg/L |
This one is even more dramatic. When I had him on the old form of CoQ10, I had to give him 400 mg every day, just to get his blood levels to 1.26 mg/L. That was an improvement, but it was still too low to help his heart.
When Accel became available, I gave him just 50 mg a day, and his blood levels more than doubled.
In this case, Accel ramped up his blood level 16 times higher for the equivalent dose. That makes all the difference. It’s not enough just to take CoQ10. You have to get your blood levels high enough to feel the real benefit.
This “reduced” form of CoQ10 is easier to absorb and use. That means your blood levels stay higher, longer. And that’s what really counts.
In an email to me, Patty from Vermont shared her story:
“I have tried other brands of CoQ10 and have never felt a difference. Once I started Accel, I felt incredibly better; my mind is sharp throughout the day, and my energy is boundless. Thank you, Dr. Sears!”**
– Patty, Newfane, VT
This new CoQ10 is called “reduced,” because it’s already converted into the kind of CoQ10 your body can use. That sends your blood levels of CoQ10 soaring. And it’s higher blood levels that make a difference.
Before Accel, your body had to convert the weaker form ubiquinone into the usable form ubiquinol.
But studies show that once you’re over 50, your body has a hard time making this conversion.
That’s bad news. When your blood levels of CoQ10 start to drop, your heart and brain may not get the kind of support they need.
If you look at the chart above, you can see the patient was taking a large dose of CoQ10, but his blood levels were still very low.
Clearly, he was having trouble converting the old form of CoQ10 into the form your body can actually use.
There’s no doubt: If you’re over 50, you should be taking the reduced form of CoQ10.
And you can expect more energy and more endurance, no matter how old you are.
Klaus California wrote to me about this “energy surge”:
“Accel gives me the energy of a person much younger than me. I run two miles several times a week and feel just great all around. I am 71 years old and in excellent health!”**
– Klaus S., Palos Verdes Estates, CA
Accel, with the reduced form of ubiquinol, is the best form of CoQ10 you can take. It’s what I give my patients.
Accel is the kind of CoQ10 your body can use, WITHOUT having to make a conversion. A conversion that gets a lot harder with age.
And recently I improved the formula.
I don’t know if you know this yet, but I added a special kind of vitamin E to Accel to make it more effective. They’re called tocotrienols (pronounced: toco-TREE-uh-nols).
Vitamin E sounds like a single vitamin, but there are 8 forms. In most daily vitamins, you’ll find only one: alpha-tocopherol. In fact, I’ve never seen tocotrienols in a multi-vitamin.
Tocotrienols are almost completely overlooked by the mainstream. Most manufacturers think they’re too expensive. And that’s too bad, because tocotrienols have a direct connection to heart health.
Tocotrienols are essential to heart health. They give your heart the kind of support it needs as you get older. In other words, they help maintain the aspects of your heart that define youth, like cellular energy, stroke volume, and pumping power.
I’ve mentioned something to you before: Accel is the only thing I plan to take every day for the rest of my life.
And now that I’m 53, Accel is the only thing I should take.
Thousands of my patients already take Accel and get more out of their lives because of it.
I want you to feel this for yourself.
If you don’t, you pay nothing.
Try Accel and get a feel for the energy and stamina that comes maintaining a strong heart. If you don’t get the same effect I do, I’ll pick up the tab. That’s my promise to you.
To Your Good Health,
Al Sears, MD
