If Teddy Roosevelt Had This…

Dear Health Conscious Reader,

About 25 years ago, I developed a phrase to help my fellow medical students remember the names for all the B vitamins. I still use this to teach nutrition today: “Teddy Roosevelt Never Painted Pyramids Blue in Fancy Clothes.” It contains the first letter of all the B vitamins in numerical order. (The missing numbers are compounds researchers thought were vitamins but turned out to be non-essential.)

You’ve probably heard about thiamine and riboflavin because they’ve been added to breakfast cereals for years.

And vitamin B6 has been in the news because one pharmaceutical company got the FDA to declare a natural form of B6 – pyridoxamine – as a drug.

But the other B vitamins are just as important. For example, do you know why vitamin B5 – pantothenic acid – is classified as “essential?”

It’s because your body uses it to make

acetylcholine. It’s involved in producing, transporting and releasing energy from fats. And did you know that pantothenic acid supports healthy cholesterol production?

Plus, it helps keep your skin healthy. Scientists are studying its effects, and find it works deep down to help your skin on a protein level.1

And you’ll rarely hear about vitamin B8. It’s called inositol, and it helps keep your liver healthy by supporting normal fat levels. It also promotes healthy hair growth.

Inositol’s most important job, though, might be to help the other B vitamins process the nutrients you eat so they can be converted into energy by your body. This helps you maintain a healthy metabolism.

But you know, those aren’t the only vitamins so-called “nutritionists,” health experts and even vitamin makers ignore.

Have you heard of biotin? There’s mounting evidence that biotin plays a role in regulating DNA replication, as well as maintaining healthy cell responses in your body.

Molybdenum is another. You don’t need much of this tongue-twisting mineral, but nearly ALL life on this planet needs at least some. And if you want your body to be able to process amino acids normally, you definitely don’t want to be deficient in molybdenum.

The other thing molybdenum does is help your body make uric acid. Uric acid works by inactivating peroxynitrite, a toxic compound that attack molecules, and even your DNA itself.3

Every cell in your body has this little-know nutrient. It’s Alpha-lipoic acid or ALA. It’s in every cell of your body and promotes normal glucose function.

And ALA isn’t like most vitamins. Most of them are either water-soluble or oil-soluble. That means they can only work in certain parts of the body. Vitamins A, D and E are oil-soluble, and the B vitamins are water-soluble.

But not ALA.

It’s both fat- and water-soluble. That means ALA can work throughout the body. And what it’s doing is helping regenerate other antioxidants making them active again, increasing their effectiveness. It’s known to support glutathione, for example. This antioxidant is essential for healthy eyes, skin, kidneys, liver and the normal function of many other organs.

And do you know why carrots are good for your eyesight? It’s not beta-carotene, although it does have something to do with two other important carotenoids. I’m talking about lutein and zeaxanthin. They are essential support for healthy light filtering in your eyes.

This is because the molecules in carotenoids have a bonding system that allows them to absorb light in the visible range of the spectrum.4 That may sound complicated, but here’s the real news: Lutein and zeaxanthin efficiently absorb blue light.

Why is this important to your health? Because reducing the amount of blue light that reaches the critical parts of your eyes may protect them from light-induced oxidative damage.5

With all those benefits, it probably sounds like I’m about to send you to the market to pile a shopping cart high with expensive organic food that has all these nutrients. Or that you’ll have to visit your local health-food store to hunt down dozens of bottles full of these important vitamins and nutrients. But the truth is, it’s a whole lot easier than that.

I’ve formulated my own multivitamin to include each of these essential nutrients. I call it Daily Power. It gives you the precise blend and daily dosages of these nutrients and other bioactive compounds I recommend to attain and maintain optimal health.*

Daily Power also gives you the right doses of 24 essential vitamins and minerals you’re not getting if you follow the RDA guidelines.

For example, the FDA says you should get a combined 400 mcg of folic acid (folate), 1.3 mg of vitamin B6 and 2.4 mcg of vitamin B12 every day. But a recent study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine shows that you would need as much as 415 times the FDA’s recommended daily intake to have any real benefit.6

That’s why Daily Power gives you exactly what you need in the right combination to support your overall health.*

And it’s made with all-natural ingredients. It contains no sugar, salt, dairy, yeast, wheat, gluten or corn. Plus, there are no preservatives, artificial colors or flavorings.

With Daily Power, you get pure vitamins and nutrients. It’s the same multivitamin I take, and the same multivitamin I recommend to all my patients.

Right now, you can get a bottle of my new multi-vitamin formula – a 30-day supply – sent directly to your door.

For healthy eyes and skin, and to maintain normal immune function and power every cell in your body with the nutrients they need,* start Daily Power today. Just click here.
