Good Guys, Bad Guys, and Your Gut

Dear Health Conscious Reader,

Chances are, if you go to a doctor with these symptoms, they’ll never figure out the problem is in your gut.

They run into the dozens: chronic fatigue, memory loss, bloating, heartburn, prostate problems, swollen or stiff joints, muscle pain, urinary tract infections – even mental and emotional problems like fear, anger, anxiety, and depression.

How can all of these things go undiagnosed?

It’s a lack of balance.

You see, your gut is teeming with bacteria. Nature designed you that way, and a lot of those bacteria are doing good things for you, like digesting your food and preventing infection.

But our diets are full of foods that fuel “bad bacteria”… foods like bread, sugar, and empty carbs. And when these bad guys take over, they create an environment that’s perfect for fungal infections and yeast overgrowths.

Even if you get off easy, you’ll still feel gassy, bloated, and tired. And you’ll often wind up constipated. Or you’ll have chronic diarrhea. One of the two.

If this goes on long enough, your immunity drops, and your risk of more serious problems goes up dramatically.

Your gut is something you want to take care of. And when I talk to my patients about this, I give them a two-pronged strategy:

  • Better food choices, and…
  • A good probiotic

As I said, sugar and bread are two of the worst things to give your body. Yeast, fungus, and countless “bad” bacteria thrive on sugar and high-carb ingredients. It’s like throwing gas on a fire.

Of course, it’s difficult to avoid bread and sugar altogether, but if you have trouble in your gut, I would give them up for at least 6 months. After that, eat them in moderation.

The second part of the equation is probiotics. I never used to recommend them. For the most part, they get killed off by your stomach acid.

My standard response to them was, “they’re useless.” (And that includes those probiotic yogurts you see on TV.)

That changed when researchers discovered how to protect probiotics, which are nothing more than “good” bacteria, until they made it past your stomach.

This breakthrough makes it possible to take probiotics and get a good result.

As soon as I read the studies, I contacted the manufacturer. After trying them here in my clinic, I designed Primal Probiotics.

These good bacteria fight the bad bacteria that may be overwhelming your gut and causing you stress or embarrassment.

This 6-strain formula:1

  • Survives the hostile environment in your gut and is resistant to stomach acid, bile, pepsin, and pancreatin.
  • Adheres to intestinal cell lines, meaning it can actually colonize in your gut, turning the tide in your favor.
  • Slows the growth of bad bacteria.
  • Modulates your immune system, making you stronger and more resistant.

This is the first probiotic I’ve ever seen that can achieve this level of effectiveness. And the claims are backed up by solid research published in peer-reviewed journals.

If you’re having trouble with your gut, I would give these a try. Bloating, gas, and constipation often respond well to these probiotics.

They’re also effective at boosting your immune system so you don’t get sick as often or as bad.

If you’re on the fence about this, I’ll make it a no-brainer. Try Primal Probiotics, and if they don’t give you the relief you’re expecting, I’ll pick up the tab.

That way, you can find out if this is right for you… without any of the risk. As a regular reader, I have no problem doing this for you.
