Three Easy Ways To Stay Young

You’ve probably noticed that telomeres are getting a lot of media attention. The BBC, CBS News in New York and L.A., and newspapers like USA Today and The New York Times have all done reports.
Do you know what telomeres are? They cap the ends of your chromosomes and keep your DNA strands from fraying.
But each time your cells divide, your telomeres get shorter, and your cells act older.

Use Marine Plants and Be Among the Longest-Lived People on Earth

We Americans are doing better than you might think on aging. Contrary to how bad things sound on the news, the truth is, we have more centenarians than any other country in the world. But if you look at average life spans, it’s Okinawans who live longer than any other people on Earth.
And elderly Okinawans rarely die from diseases like heart disease and cancer and are known for aging slowly. The Okinawa Centenarian Study examined why this Japanese island’s elderly are the longest-lived people on the planet. And the study revealed an interesting staple of their daily diet:

I Thought This Would Happen…

There’s a very small group of people using a new secret to help reset their “biological ages.” They are getting “biologically younger,” and their blood tests show astounding results when tested for their biological ages.
This technology, based on a Nobel-Prize-winning breakthrough, could put you in this very exclusive company.
I should know. I’m one of them.

Look 30% Younger…

The groundbreaking research on how we age won the Nobel Prize in 2009.
I’m talking about discovering the secret of aging. From this point on, aging will never be the same.
In laboratories throughout the world, researchers are using this discovery to alter different features of aging.

Shut Down the Aging of Your Skin

On Oct. 26, 2008, people all over the country attended my first ever conference on telomeres (pronounced tell-o-meers).
Surrounded by some of the world’s most recognized, cutting-edge researchers in the field, we shared how telomeres are the key to aging. And everyone who witnessed the event walked away with the ability to control their aging clock and add years of abundant health to their lives.
Telomeres are the “time keepers” attached to every strand of your DNA. They’re critical to youthful cell function. But each time your cells divide, your telomeres get shorter. When your telomeres run down, cell division stops and your life ends…

They've Added Caffeine to What?

A man walks into his kitchen in slow motion, yawning and rubbing his shoulder. His shirt’s unbuttoned and his tie’s undone. This guy just can’t get it together. He walks right past the fridge, and right past his wife and kids who he doesn’t even notice. He goes straight for the cabinet and grabs a box of “Bayer AM.”
All of a sudden, the sun comes up and he’s at full speed. His tie is done, he grabs his jacket and briefcase and he’s out the door with a smile.
I saw this commercial yesterday morning after I did my usual PACE routine and turned on the Today show. I shook my head in amazement…

"This Will Change the World as We Know It"

This had such an impact on me, I still remember it: I was sitting at my desk almost 20 years ago. I like to stay abreast of non-medical scientific literature. So I picked up my issue of Scientific American and something jumped off the page at me.
Elizabeth Blackburn had made a truly revolutionary discovery. I’ll never forget it.
When I read that she’d found a solution to aging already in our genes, I took out a piece of paper and wrote down something that I still have today. It says, “This will change the world as we know it.”
Now, finally, it seems other people think so, too. Elizabeth Blackburn won the 2009 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
Why all the fuss? Let me explain why this discovery is so powerful…

Cleopatra's Beauty Secret…Only Better

Cleopatra… just her name makes me think “beautiful.”
It’s widely written that she took baths in milk and used natural mixtures of honey and aloe on her skin. What’s less well-known is that she also used clay for her complexion.
The kinds of clay found in Egypt are “bentonite” clays. They contain volcanic ash and other elements. But most of what they’re made of is a kind of clay now called montmorillonite. It’s named after the town in France where it was first identified…

Your Built-In Way to Fight Back

Your body is constantly being attacked by bacteria and other viruses.
But, you have a built-in way to fight back – your T cells.
T cells are a form of white blood cells that fight off infection and disease.
T cells do their best to destroy sickness, disease, and other invaders your body doesn’t recognize. And if they need help, they copy themselves for more fighting power…

"Red Wine Vitamin" Zaps Wrinkles

Researchers recently discovered a surprising new benefit of red wine…
It contains a powerful ingredient that can help you change the appearance of aging of your skin.
You may have heard of it. We’ve known for years it supports your heart and may help you live longer.
Now, ongoing research shows resveratrol helps you maintain younger-looking skin.
Did you see the resveratrol story on “60 Minutes”?

Look and Feel Like a Teenager Again

When I was in med school 25 years ago, a small group of researchers were quietly laying the groundwork for a breakthrough that, at the time, sounded like science fiction.
Today it’s reality. People like you are keeping the power of youth into old age. I’ve seen it first hand.
Being one of the first board certified doctors in anti-aging medicine, I’ve had a front row seat for this remarkable discovery. The breakthrough I’m talking about is a brand new form of CoQ10 called Accel. It’s helping my patients make unbelievable gains…

Dr. Bill is Aging in Reverse

Getting older is inevitable. But you can do something about the way you age. And some people just seem to defy age.
Like my friend and colleague, Dr. Bill. He’s in his mid 50s but has the life and enthusiasm of a 20-something kid. He looks half his age, too.
Check out what he said:

Stir-Fry Root Eases Pain

The other day a new patient came to my office feeling like he was “coming down with something.” There was no fever or coughing… but he felt tired, stiff, and achy. He even told me he was taking four Advils a day – just to get by.
If his story sounds like your life too, you’re among the millions who suffer from chronic pain. It’s the leading cause of disability in the U.S. And I know it can be downright unbearable at times…

The One Nutrient I Take Every Day

Saving My Skin At the Top of the World

I recently fulfilled a life-long dream. In March, I climbed Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro. It’s the highest walkable point on Earth. And, it’s only two degrees from the equator. So it’s about as close as you can get to the sun.
On the summit at almost 20,000 feet, I looked east and west. I felt like I could see all the way around the world. It was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life.
